Pencil Fun!

I was emailed this one time (and would give credit if I could), and thought it was amazing, so I thought I'd look it up again and post it here. This guy carves pencils, and he carves all sorts of stuff...

...from the alphabet to a mailbox, to a shoe, hearts, or a saw.

Well, that's all for now! I'll be posting again soon, because the robins are getting close to hatching!!

Did You Know?

As I read a book assigned to me about the country we were studying last week (The United States of America), here's something I came across:

The U.S.A. invented Silly Putty, Play-Doh, Barbie dolls, Viewmasters, Mr. Potato Heads, G.I. Joes, Monopoly, Slinkies, Frisbees, Hula Hoops, and even roller skates.

I thought that was pretty cool that Americans came up with all that stuff! Don't you think that's pretty cool? You can tell that I thought so!

How to Make Felt Ornaments

How to make felt ornaments:
  • Trace outline on two pieces of felt (pen works best)

snowmanTips for decorating: Glitter glue for Gingerbread Man; sequins work well for the Heart and the Tree; red piece of felt for scarf, and orange triangle for Snowman.

Hula-Hoop!

Last night Mama gave me a hula hoop! Its silver-colored, and it has a liquid in it that makes a neat sound when you're hula-hooping! Now let me tell you why I got it. On Thursday, Mama had a ladies get-together at our house, and so because I went to bed when I was told, and didn't get mad, I was suprised with a hula-hoop! Mama said she won't give me somthing every time, but she said that she gave me this to say thank you and I love you. THANK YOU, MAMA!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I just saw these hawks that were in a tree, and then circled down together, but at each other. Weird.
