Did You Know?

As I read a book assigned to me about the country we were studying last week (The United States of America), here's something I came across:

The U.S.A. invented Silly Putty, Play-Doh, Barbie dolls, Viewmasters, Mr. Potato Heads, G.I. Joes, Monopoly, Slinkies, Frisbees, Hula Hoops, and even roller skates.

I thought that was pretty cool that Americans came up with all that stuff! Don't you think that's pretty cool? You can tell that I thought so!

that is so neat that some of the favorite toys of all time were actually invented in our home country! Awesome. Kathryn, thanks for sharing. I was looking forward to a blog update from you!

I like the fact that the U.S.A. invented cool toys. That should make us a fun country.
I may have to go find me some Silly Putty to play with.
