We have also done a chickadee in pastels, and that was really fun, too! You should try finding some pastels and putting them to use! Like I said earlier, we got ours from a blog, but you can do anything from a slice of pie, to a tornado, to a big harvest moon with a city at night (all of which I think they've done). So be creative, and see what you can find around the house or in the garden!!

Kathryn - your chicks are wonderful! I love the detail of their sweet, little wings - and the clouds you blended into the sky! You are quite an artist.(and it makes us all happy over here at Hodgepodge to know you will be doing more pastels soon). Thanks for sharing your chicks and Happy Easter!
