This past month Ken taught me how to play Chess! And I'm pretty good at it. I've probably played about 30 games (in my whole life), and, even though I have won 0 times, I have captured his Queen (2 times). You know what? For me and the White King, the Black Queen (Ken's) is the most dangerous piece on the board to the White King (mine). In every game, the White Queen is captured, but one time a White Pawn (one of mine) was able to sneak in and got the White Queen back. Of course, that Pawn (I think) was captured, but it wasn't a big deal, because its just a Pawn. Here's a picture of me and Ken playing Chess.

I never learned to play chess, but my husband likes to play. I'm glad you and Ken can play together.
Glad you're enjoying it! Cullen likes chess a lot. You two should play sometime
Chess is a fabulous game to learn ... lots of strategy lessons!
I used to play chess but haven't in a long time. You've reminded me how much fun it is. I think I'll pull out our chess set an see if I still remember how to play.
I hope you are having a wonderful summer.
